Brittney & Matthew

For Brittney and Matthew’s engagement session, we went to Discovery Park over in Magnolia.  I’ve only been here 2 times since I moved here, but it’s just so huge and so many places to explore!  Hence, the name–”Discovery.”  We did a mini hike as well and tried to find the lighthouse, but it was still covered up for renovation.  There was also an amazing sunset that night that we weren’t expecting at all!  Then it unexpectedly started to rain, welcome to Seattle.  We found this fluffy, luscious, long, green grass that I had the two lay in, so I kept those colors normal because it was just so pretty!  The very last photo of Matthew holding a heart with Sun Valley is where they both first told they loved each other  :)  This was such a fun shoot!!

Rachelle - These pictures look so good in the 70′s style! I like the setting!! GOOD Work lady! Glad you finally got the grass shots, and good job getting shots of the rings!

Jenny B - Wang these looks sooo good, and the watermark is awesome. I love your d80.

Ligia - aww these pictures are sooo good! You guys are so cute!!!

Stephanie G - Okay! Here is my critique.. My favorite photos are: the grass ones, and I especially like the view where they’re laying down, and you can see her ring while looking down toward their toes. Also, when they’re hugging (standing up) – her eyes peeking over his shoulder look amazing. Is that a colored sheet they’re tunneling through?? It’s a really neat and beautiful idea! As far as anything to change: I wonder what would happen if he didn’t wear glasses in the pic? He looks like the type of person who always wears glasses, so it might look out of the ordinary if he didn’t wear them..I just noticed, there’s kind of a glare off his glass lenses, it’s hard to see his eyes in some pictures, there’s just kind of a white reflection there instead. haha. Anyway they’re all gorgeous, Wang, and the surroundings/park are really awesome!

Stephen Probert - Jimmy told me about your work and I like it a lot. Will probably keep tabs on your blog here; you are a font of creativity!
