On Monday, Dani, Derek, Jenny, and I set out to the Washington Park Arboretum for their engagement session! Derek and Dani were one of the first people I met when I first moved to Seattle, and back then we even talked about me wanting to do their engagements! ;) And now the time has come! We’ll be doing more sessions as a series as the seasons progress until their wedding in September. The weather was great, and all the blossoms were blooming at the Arboretum! This is my first portrait session in the new city. Washington makes it so easy for beautiful photos!! Such a fun time with Jenny helping me assist the shoot. I will always hold a special place in my heart for these two :) They both have been so good to me ever since I first got here; they are such a blessing to me. Enjoy!

Jenny B - That one on at the picnic table, where they’re laughing, and Dani’s laughing so hard that she’s hiding her head in her hair and hands…..that is my favorite.
They all look really good though, wang. That yellow bush worked out well. And you can actually see the petals falling when I shook the branch! Mm.
