Oh my goodness!! Jenny and Kurt’s wedding has been one of the most anticipated events of 2011 for their friends and family–as well as myself!! You may remember them from our engagement session last fall of 2010! I had met these two over a year ago and absolutely fell in love with them. I was so honored when they asked me to shoot their “circus” wedding this past November. Such an eventful day…packed with a TON of stuff….so please bear with me as this blog may contain a million photos. We started off the morning over at Swink Style Bar over in Westlake/Stewart area–got to meet the ladies as well as reunite with some familiar faces. :) I had the pleasure of working with some of Jenny’s close friends in the past, so it was great to see them again. From there, we headed over to the Arctic Club Hotel in Pioneer Square where the girls finished getting ready. We then went up to 1st Hill to the Chapel of St. Ignatius at Seattle University for the ceremony. It was getting pretty chilly and started to rain a little bit, but the wedding party did great as we took some portraits outside. The surrounding walls of the Chapel has a really nice texture, so we were able to find some pretty cool backgrounds for photos. After the beautiful ceremony, we headed back to the Arctic Club for the reception. The guests were immediately greeted in the hotel lobby bar for cocktail hour by a stilter (Chelsea), magician (Nash Fung) and juggler (Nickolai). Needless to say…I don’t think anyone ever got bored during this night!! Everyone then headed upstairs to the historic Northern Lights Dome Room for the main reception. This is probably one of the most beautiful rooms that I ever seen. All the details and decorations came together SO well…absolutely LOVED the circus theme! The entertainers performed throughout the Dinner Show with an amazing contortion stunt by Paz and Leah. Pretty much the photos explain the whole night! Super fun night, and I don’t think I have ever been to a wedding like this. ;) Jenny and Kurt put on a unforgettable event, and I thank you both for letting me be part of this night. I had a blast meeting all of your friends and family–they were absolutely wonderful to me, and I love you both!! Enjoy the pictures!
