Memorial Day weekend was spent with a really amazing group of people. We ventured out to San Juan Islands for a camping trip. Everything was so good, from the ferry ride from Anacortes, whale watching, roasting snausages, Dakota the cute pups, Mexican night, sitting in the rain, bonding by the campfire, exploring the low tide Puget Sound, and waking up early the next morning to pack and be the very last ones to catch the 8:00am ferry out! It was also our friend, Hilary’s, birthday in Anacortes. So as we sailed conveniently into Anacortes, we stopped for some brunch in the cute town, and then had a fun time celebrating her birthday with lots of good company and more food. The drive back to Seattle was also so beautiful. There was a small rain storm and the clouds were so good. Thank you everyone who was part of my weekend–it was amazing. There is an overload of photos, it was really hard to narrow them down haha. (I love Washington and Nikon, always and forever)

Stephanie G - I think my favorite part about this series are the eXPRESSIONs. From Jenni’s out-of-the-corner-of-the-eye-looks to relaxing on the sleeping bag, to people being dozy, to the old guy peering off the side of the boat… to the toddler’s wide eyed glances, to Courtney cracking up on the couch, it’s like you caught each person’s reactions right at their peak. Thoroughly terrific!
Brittany - My favorite was the old man and Jenni on the sleeping bag! (they weren’t there together…obviously).
