My Very First Real Winter

This morning, I woke up at 6am and looked out my window.  The snow from yesterday was finally sticking, and I saw white fluffies everywhere.  It was still dark outside, and I waited until sunrise to go outside.  My roommate/friend, Jennifer, and I jumped into our rain boots and threw on some layers of clothing and frolicked outside.  I have never seen a white winter….well, since I was like 8.  So it’s been a good 16 years since I’ve actually looked outside my window and seen snow outside my street.  And snow in the mountains don’t count!  Today is a winter wonderland.  Except, I don’t know how I’m supposed to leave the house!

Dahnya - I must say I am torn between falling for the red house pictures or the pink house ones…they’re all great! Makes me long for a real TX winter. *sigh*
