Laura & Nolan

Alright, so I first met Laura a year ago last summer pretty much when I had just moved to Seattle at a friend’s BBQ.  She immediately befriended me and I will never forget her beautiful long blonde hair!  Laura is always laughing and just full of joy.  When Laura and Nolan asked me to be their photographer, I was so flattered because Laura’s also seen the beginning stages of my photography and had always believed in me.  It’s just so cool to see them so supportive!  We took their engagements over at Ballard Locks to find some pretty fall leaves.  This was a half-session, so we should be continuing our last session soon!  We had to take some chances with the weather and what not since fall rain is so unpredictable.  Thanks so much and congratulations to you both!!  :)

Stephanie G - ahh!!! SO magical Karen. The purple and blue they’re wearing’s so vivid in all the picture. The first up close ones strike me the most, but I the ones facing into the sun/water, and the one underneath the bridge are gorgeous too :) Congratulations to them, such a beautiful couple!!

Kristin Boyett - haha — LOVE the sequence shots!

Cooper Senior Portraits

On Sunday, I had a senior session with Cooper at Greenlake.  I haven’t been to the lake in probably a good year, and I just could not believe how colorful it was!!  It seems as if most of the trees there had already turned and fallen.  I had such a great time hanging out with Cooper and getting to know him a little better.  He really loves sports, so in a to-be-continued session, we will get some shots of him playing basketball and hanging out with his buddies!  :)

Kristin Boyett - LOVE the fall colors. Nice job, Karen!

Susie - I love the pictures and my son loved working with Karen. She is awesome!

This is Fall

So recently, I haven’t been taking many leisure photos, but for some reason I had to bring my camera with me today.  It was a good friend’s birthday, and we spent the day around Ballard.  We enjoyed coffee, the Sunday market, brunch, and the locks.  There is no doubt fall is already here in the northwest.  The weather consisted of sunshine, puffy clouds, sprinkling rain, wind, and even a heavy downpour–all in one day.  The leaves here are so beautiful, and the colors are just beginning to change.  Thank you friends for making Seattle so good to me; ya’ll are beautiful people.  This was one of the best days I’ve had in a while, and I’m so glad I was able to document it.  :)

Rachelle - LOVE THIS! The color is amazing. I love the groupings of all the photos too!

Stephanie G - SO beautiful. Wish I could’ve been there to see it all in person!
