Rachael Senior Portraits

First of all, I just have to say working with Rachael has been such a pleasure!  She has just been so patient.  We’ve been working on these photos for a few weeks now due to rescheduling several times because of the rain and different availabilities, but we finally have them done!!  Rachael is also good friends with Vanessa, who I had a senior session with as well!  :)  On our first day out, Juanita, Rachael’s mother, came out to Pike Place Market with us to assist the shoot!  She was such a huge help because we were in the middle of downtown with many outfit changes and people walking around everywhere!!  We were having lots of fun and were ready to move to the outdoors when it started to rain!  Rachael was such a good sport and we took some with an umbrella, and then we had to reschedule part 2 of her session.  Our next shoot was at the Washington Park Arboretum.  I haven’t been here since the winter, and everything was blooming now!!  All the flowers and trees were so bright, colorful and luscious.  We both thought it was pretty much the most beautiful place we’ve ever been to in Washington, haha.  The sun was high, so we had to hunt to find shade.  As we approached the end of her shoot, guess what happened again?  It started to rain!  So we had to wrap it up, but we got some pretty fun shots.  This was definitely a fun shoot for me, especially with the many obstacles, but I am so happy I got to take your portraits, Rachael!!

Stephanie G - These are magical, SERIOUSLY! WHOA!
I think my favorite ones are her in the light pink top and then in the cream cardigan thing, in the trees, the suns glowing, and it just looks heavenly. I honestly don’t think there’s one bad shot here, though. It’s like visual chocolate.. worth savoring each color, landscape, and outfit. Ah!
