Week 11 | Burbs

BURBIE!!!!  She is just so beautiful!  I met Burbs probably over a year ago when she visited a mutual friend in Seattle.  I remember we went to church and then got Beth’s Cafe for dinner haha.  I only got to spend a short time with her, but we had a ton of fun.  She was living in Colorado at that time and then last winter, we had gotten the news that she was moving to Seattle and staying with us until she got on her feet in the new city.  So I got to really know Burbie this past winter a few months as we shared a room together and kicked Jennifer out into the living room.  We had some great times.  Burbie is a lot like me and we kind of just like to vent to whoever is around us, so talking to her every night before bed was so good.  We also had the same sleep schedule, so that was nice too!!  I loved being in quarantine in the room haha.  Uncontrollable laughter was one of our main activities for sure.  Soon enough, she found a place to live just a few blocks from our house!  How wonderful!!  Burbalicious had a pretty intense move and now to see her getting out and living in Seattle is so awesome.   God is always providing for us even in the hardest times.  We took these photos on her new rooftop of her apartment and the view there on Capitol Hill is just incredible!  I love it up there.  Then we just walked around a few blocks in the area for the rest and found some really cool texture/colors/walls.  Burbie has the BEST serious faces….her red lipstick was so perfect!  I am so happy to capture her new life here in Seattle  :)  We both agree that this city is probably one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen!
