Week 18 | CJ

Hmmm…well, I first have to say God’s timing is always so perfect, and this week’s person couldn’t have come at a better time.  :)  CJ was brought into my life quite some time ago, and I had failed to notice such a thing.  God has been putting him on my heart lately, and He is continuously working on me to really take the time to invest into these people who I had originally looked past at in the first place.  The Lord just seems to be always breaking my hardened heart–especially when I least expect it.  I honestly have to say I have grown to really love this guy in such a short amount of time and am really beginning to grow a huge heart for him.  So, apparently I met CJ a good year ago or so….never really took the time to know or really talk to him for a long, long time.  Crossed paths a few times, had little chit chats, he came to my birthday party……but it was all whatever.  To hear the things he remembers such a long time ago–that I have no memory of…..just really made me reevaluate how I can sometimes treat people.  I don’t think you know how much you’ve actually encouraged me recently, but with your persistent friendship with me has become a HUGE blessing to me.  I know it took a good 8 months or so for us to finally hang out, but I cannot be any more stoked to have you come into my life  :D  He had thought I was some super mysterious person for the longest time……  o_O  bhahahah but to discover I am just a simple Wang  :)  I feel like God has been doing some amazing things in your life…especially just in this past year–God is always growing in and through you, and even though you feel like sometimes you don’t know what it is that He’s calling you to….He is just always bringing you closer to Him, and that’s the best part about our Lord and Savior–He will never stop loving and pursuing us, no matter what.  God’s amazing love for you and your love for Him is apparent in your life, and I thank you for sharing life with the people who love and care for you the most.  I love that you have such a lovable spirit, and are probably one of the most approachable human beings I have ever met.  I also love that you can just say whatever and don’t really care if you sound dumb  :)  And I thank you for making me laugh uncontrollably sometimes, even if it’s not funny….because those are the funniest.  Thank you for running errands with me, and I thank you again for your persistence to befriend me these past few months.  You have truly opened my heart and what a great joy it is to know you.  :)  I’m excited to start a new friendship with you this upcoming year and see God’s amazing plan and work in your life.

P.S.  We took these around downtown/Belltown/Elliott Bay trail area…..I had a ton of fun laughing with and shooting you.  You are silly and are the very most precious in front of the camera.
