Week 19 | April

This is April!!!!  What a special lady she is to me!!  I first “knew” of April because she was going to be a bridesmaid at Brittney’s wedding that I was shooting.  Before we had officially met…we had found out we had a ton of random mutual friends, and she was just absolutely the sweetest thing!  She had referred me to so many different people before we finally met!  April was just SO encouraging in that sense, and how she just kept supporting my work and was spreading my name like flies  :)  She had also brought Courtney into my life last summer as well–one of the most amazing clients I have ever had!!!  Her and Nick were just an absolute joy to work with.  Then after many months, I FINALLY had the honor to meet April the day of Brittney’s wedding!  She had just gotten married earlier that summer as well!  As soon as we met, we just clicked and got along so well.  I just thanked her a million times for being so sweet and referring me to so many people without even meeting me!!  After B’s wedding, I saw her here and there at a few other weddings.  She immediately came to my mind when I was doing my project, so I met April over in Edmonds, WA to do her shoot!  I got to see her and Peter’s cute little place that they’ve been living in after they got married!  We walked around Edmonds over to the city center and ferry.  I love that little town!!  It is so precious and seems like it’d be such a cool place to live.  I definitely would like to come back again and hang out there a little longer  :)  April always has this huge smile on her face, and she is just a joy to be around.  I love seeing her beautiful, bright shining face anytime I get to, which is not very often!  But we both got to catch each other up with what God has been doing in our lives because I feel like SO much has happened since last summer!  It’s been forever, and it was so good to just talk to her.  She’s definitely one of those very few people who have encouraged me a ton since I began my business, so she means a lot to me!!  You are SO special to me, April!!  I am so very excited to have met you!  We plan on doing dinner together soon in Edmonds with the ole gang, and hopefully will be doing her and Petter’s one year anniversary photos!!   Thank you, April for being part of my life and being so supportive all the time!  You’ve been a huge encouragement to me, and I am so excited that we got hang out in your hood and see a little part of your life.  :)
