Week 22 | Emma

So, Emma might look kind of familiar to ya’ll from a wedding back in November.  She was one of the most beautiful brides I had ever seen!!  That wedding day was just amazing, and I had one of the best times being part of it and shooting such a gorgeous day.  I had first met Emma around 2 years ago when I officially gave my life to Jesus in October of 2009.  She was actually my baptism buddy  :)  And we didn’t realize till several months later–even Matthew remembered too!!  So cool to see the people that God puts in your life, and you don’t even realize it till they’re right in front of you!  When Emmie asked me to shoot her wedding, I was SO honored and pretty much couldn’t say no!  Emma and Matthew are a huge blessing to me, and being part of their big day was evidence of why the Lord has called me to pursue photography even though sometimes I really can become skeptical about the whole business.  Every time I see Emma, she puts a huge smile on my face.  She’s always so giggly, and she really is a great joy to be around.  She invited me over to her new side of town in Bellevue, and I got to have lunch with her and Matthew!  It was really great to just catch up and see the Lord’s work in yall’s marriage–I cannot believe it’s almost been a year!  Time flies by SO fast–it’s just crazy.  We got to also hang around at the Kirkland waterfront where we took these photos!  You are SOOOO pretty, Emmie!!!!!  And of course, we got some coffee shots…because those are always fun  :)  Zoka has some pretty nice coffee art!  Thank you, Emma, for being such a huge encouragement to me in my photography–I am SO glad to know you and Matt!  You both are super special to me  :)  Me love you both long time.
