Week 4 | Dani

DANI!!!!!  Oh how I absolutely love this girl!  :)  Dani was pretty much my very first female friend I had made in Seattle; as soon as we first met, we got along so well!  She had befriended me so quickly and showed me so many new things in the new city.  I’ve known her for quite a while now and have grown to love her sooooo much.  She has been such an amazing friend to me this past year and a half, and I had the honor to witness Dani marry Derek last summer!  I really got to spend lots of time with Dani in the winter of 2009 when her and her family were so generous enough to let me stay in their home in Bothell, WA when I was homeless  :)  We spent many nights watching movies by the fireplace with her kitty, doggies, and Derek.  Her parents have also been sooo good to me as well and have treated me like their adopted Asian daughter haha; I am so thankful they are part of my life! For these photos, we went to Ballard locks for a few and then over to Ballard Ave.  We eventually ended up at Miro Tea to enjoy some delicious Plum Rose Oolong because it was freezing as we approached the end of our shoot–we needed a quick way to warm our bones and tea was the perfect solution!  Dani, you are such a strong and beautiful woman and thank you for befriending me when I was a complete stranger in the new city and for being SO good to me.  Your friendship is so important to me, and you are a person I totally want to grow old with  :)  I am so excited to see what God has planned for you and Derek this upcoming year!
